types of volunteers, i.e. intermittent special

volunteers. Volunteers who are providing services
on-site will be provided with an orientation.
Additionally, the San Antonio AIDS Foundation is an
approved site for community restitution volunteers who
provide volunteer services as an alternative to
incarceration.

Community Clinic: Volunteers play a vital role in our ability to serve our clients. Individual
opportunities are currently available. Trained clinic
volunteers work in a medical setting, helping with
clerical duties, assisting in patient care, and acting
as medical chaperones. Volunteers in our outreach
program assemble information and supply packets to be
distributed during our street outreach, as well as help
with special projects.
Volunteers are always welcome to assist in the various
programs:
Medical, Outreach, Office/Clerical Assistance, Special
Events Planning/Golf Tournament, Casino Night, Health
Fairs, Art/Music (Heart and Soul), Resource Library.
If you
are interested in becoming a volunteer or learning more
about our programs, call the clinic at 821.5522 or
our outreach program at 805.8106.
