Alamo Area Resource Center
Alamo Area Resource Center provides housing locator assistance for people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. In addition, some assistance in finding Housing is available for those individuals with credit problems, past leasing problems and criminal histories.

AARC has developed relationships with area property owners willing to work with individuals and families. Housing placement is on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed.

AARC HOPWA Housing and Vocational Services Program.  This program is designed to assist clients in obtaining safe and affordable housing and gainful employment to assist people in returning to the work force.  In order to access this program you must provide a referral from your case manager with usual documentation.  Classes in life skills, job training, job readiness, job search and retention are required.   Rental assistance is limited to two years

B.E.A.T. AIDS
No longer provides rental assistance. 

Hope Action Care
Hope Action Care provides transitional housing to HIV positive persons through their Casa Martin project.

San Antonio AIDS Foundation
HOPWA Long-term tenant based rental assistance program provides assistance for more than 4 months with yearly recertification. Amount of assistance is based on income and client's monthly rent and expenses.  SAAF is currently
[June 2006] accepting applications for rental assistance.  Check with your case manager.
